A solar / wind and battery powered  microwave-wirelessly linked LIVE web cam over looking Whistler and Blackcomb mountains :update frequency = 9 seconds (Notes): Some times it's cloudy at the base and sunny up top or the reverse, in the early morning the sun is directly in the lens so the picture is all whited out but before sun up or late morning you can get some very spectacular views, and we also save the images each day so you can look back in time at the weather, at night time you can see the village and creekside lights and even full moons. Click here for the Live WoodRun Cam ( Live since 6/23/2001) Located on top for 60 foot tree across from the WIZARD chair in the benchlands . This web cam looks down at the base of Blackcomb Mountain:update frequency = 140 seconds (Notes): this cam you can see the lift lines at the WIZARD chair ,In the morning the sun is behind the cam so the view of the fresh snow and weather conditions will be very good, at night time the base is fully lighted from the ski run flood lights this cam has a good view 24 hours a day. Click here for the Live Uli's Flipeside Cam ( Live since 8/11/2002) Located in the original Whistler village looking toward a well known night club and the Village Stroll :update frequency = 140 seconds (Notes): this cam you can see locals and tourists strolling along the pathway and the line up waiting to get into one of our famous night clubs. Click here for the Live ListelCam ( Live since 2/3/2001) Located on top for the Listel Hotel in the center of the original Whistler village. This web cam looks up at the base of BlackcombMountain: update frequency = 999 seconds (Notes): if the Sproatt Cam is clouded, this cam can give you a cloud line view of Blackcomb Mountain, at night time you can see the snow groomers on the ski runs. The camera is on top the Bear Foot Bistro Restaurant in the center of  the original Whistler looking towards the driving range where you can see golfers  practicing there swing.. To the upper left of picture is Whistler Mountain: update frequency = 999 seconds (Notes) :In mid morning in the winter time the sun is directly in the lens but will show you if its raining or snowing what's stuck to the lens, At night time you can see cars and street lights. This web cam looks at the base of Blackcomb's Wizard chair area: update frequency = 15 seconds (Notes): the sun in the winter time from 11:00 to about 2:00 will be in the lens , If it's cloudy the view should be good , you can see lots of activates in the summer and lift line in the winter ;at night time you can see some lights . Click here for the Big Sky Golf Cam1 ( Live since 05/25/2001 )The Big Sky Cam located in the Beautiful Pemberton valley just 20 minute drive from Whistler .This cam looks at spectacular Mt Currie though a 90 degree wide angle lens. update frequency = 280 seconds (Notes): This cam gives a good view of Mt Currie, and at night threre are no lites so the picture will be black. Click here for the Telescope Cam ( Live since 0714/2001 ) The Telescope Cam is located in Whistler Creekside and is looking up at WhistlerWEB's communication tower on Sproatt  Mountain 3 kilometers away @ 522 times Magnification : update frequency = 8 seconds
(Notes): This cam give a  view of Whistlerweb's tower , Ray dome and other communication structures on Sproatt mountain, the web-cam is attached to a 8 inch DOBSONIAN telescope a 4 times BARLOW and 19 mm lens which gives an F-stop of 24 so unless the sun is bright the tower will seem a little dark. best viewed in morning till mid afternoon.
